The Bovensiepen 05 GT is a low-volume super-wagon based on the BMW M5 Touring, the second model from the marque founded by the ex-Alpina Bovensiepen brothers. Its S68 plug-in-hybrid V8 is lifted to 800 hp and 1100 Nm, with bodywork by Frank Stephenson. It reaches 100 km/h in 3.6 seconds; German prices start at EUR 198,900, with up to 100 cars a year.
Bovensiepen
German low-volume car maker founded in 2026 in Buchloe by the Bovensiepen brothers, after Alpina passed under BMW's control. It builds heavily reworked, small-series cars based on BMW models.
Bovensiepen Automobile is a German car maker founded in 2026 and based in Buchloe, Bavaria. It was set up by the Bovensiepen brothers after Alpina, the long-established BMW tuner their family had run, passed under BMW’s control at the start of 2026.
The company follows the Alpina template of taking a BMW and reworking it extensively rather than building from scratch, but as an independent marque with its own name. Production is deliberately small scale, measured in dozens to low hundreds of cars a year.
The line-up so far is two cars: a Zagato-bodied coupe and the 05 GT, an 800 hp super-wagon based on the BMW M5 Touring.
