Slate, the Bezos-backed electric pickup startup, has partnered with Crayola to offer five branded wraps for its Truck and SUV. It is not factory paint - the vehicles are still built as an unpainted grey “Blank Slate,” with color and styling added afterward as dealer-installed accessories.

Colors: Cerulean, Dandelion, Fern, Jersey Tomato and Razzmatazz. Buyers can add matching decals, mirror stripes, Crayola logos on the rocker panels and a body-color key fob cap.

Price: the Crayola wrap costs $1,549.99. Slate’s standard wraps start at $499.99, its iridescent finishes at $669.99, and a fully custom color at $1,599.99.

Context: the base Slate Truck starts at $25,950, with the SUV version from $29,950. Slate keeps those prices low by simplifying the base vehicle and pushing customization to the aftermarket rather than the factory.
