GetCarNews is an independent car news and reference site. We cover new and upcoming cars worldwide, along with the specifications, industry news and explainers around them.
Who we are
GetCarNews is made by two friends. We're both genuinely into the auto industry, and the site began as an experiment: could we build a small car publication the way we'd want to read one? Fact-driven, curious about the stories behind the headlines, and easy to use. It's still that experiment, and we keep learning as it grows.
What we cover
Every powertrain: EV, plug-in hybrid, hybrid and ICE. New reveals, spec updates and production confirmations across the major markets, with extra attention to cars that haven't had wide coverage yet.
How we work
We favour primary sources: manufacturer announcements, official press material and spec sheets.
- When two official figures disagree, we show both and say so.
- If something isn't confirmed, we say that too.
How we use AI
We use AI where it saves us time: helping draft articles and gathering specification, pricing and production data from manufacturer and public sources. Before anything goes live, we check every figure against the manufacturer's own material. What's on the site is ours to stand behind, so if you spot an inaccuracy, please let us know.
