About

Jetour is a Chery Group brand launched on 22 January 2018 in Wuhu, Anhui. It sells under the name Jietu in China and as Jetour everywhere else, so unlike several of its stablemates the badge and the company behind it are the same wherever the car is bought. Chery’s other levels sit around it: Exeed above as the premium marque, Omoda and Jaecoo as export-only brands, and iCAUR, which is sold as iCar in China.

The lineup was built on family SUVs and MPVs with a travel theme, led by the X70 and X90 families, and later widened into boxy off-road-styled models with the T1, T2 and the Zongheng G700. Powertrains have run from petrol to Chery’s plug-in hybrid systems, and Jetour has become one of the group’s larger domestic sellers as well as a growing presence in the Middle East, Southeast Asia and South America.

Its first fully electric car arrived in 2026. The Tourer, shown at the Chengdu auto show in August, is a compact boxy crossover on a new electric drivetrain, with rear- and all-wheel-drive versions and a Chery-developed battery.
