Overview

The Tourer is the first battery-electric car from Jetour, the SUV and MPV brand Chery launched in 2018. It was shown at the Chengdu auto show on 21 August 2026 and sold as Jietu Huanyouzhe in China, where refundable blind orders opened three days later. Sales are set for the fourth quarter of 2026, and Jetour has not yet published prices or trim levels.

What the filing confirms

Most of what is known comes from Jetour’s certification filing with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, which carries specifications a maker has to declare before a car can be sold. It lists a rear-drive version with a single 200 kW (268 hp) permanent-magnet motor, and an all-wheel-drive version that adds a 75 kW induction motor at the front for 275 kW (369 hp) combined. Both are limited to 180 km/h. The battery is lithium-iron-phosphate, with cells from Anhui Deyi Energy and the pack assembled by a Chery subsidiary in Wuhu; Jetour markets it as the Rhino battery and claims combined range beyond 500 km. Capacity and a homologated range figure have not been published. Chinese outlets have reported 67.2 kWh and around 550 km on the CLTC cycle, which Jetour has not confirmed.

Body and dimensions

The Tourer is 4,475 mm long, 1,880 mm wide and 1,700 mm tall on a 2,735 mm wheelbase, with ground clearance above 200 mm and five seats. The filing also covers a longer 4,605 mm body on the same wheelbase. The styling is deliberately square, with flat sides, exposed hinges and a short overhang at each end.

Interior and assistance

Inside, Jetour has kept a separate digital instrument display and a floating central touchscreen rather than merging them, and retained physical controls alongside wireless phone charging. The rear seats fold into a flat platform intended to work as a camping bed, and the cabin has dedicated storage for outdoor equipment and external power outlets. Driver assistance is the Falcon 500 system, a camera-led package with radar and ultrasonic sensors and no roof-mounted lidar.
