The Fiat Grande Panda is a supermini hatchback that launched in 2024 as a larger, more modern companion to the long-running Panda. It measures 3,999 mm long, 1,760 mm wide and 1,570 mm tall on a 2,540 mm wheelbase, built on Stellantis’s Smart Car platform shared with the Citroën C3 family and the Opel Frontera.
The petrol range opens with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbo engine producing 100 hp, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox. A 110 hp mild-hybrid version adds a 48-volt system and a 6-speed eDCT automatic transmission, returning combined fuel consumption of around 5.1 l/100 km. Both are front-wheel drive. Fiat also sells a separately specified battery-electric Grande Panda with a 44 kWh LFP battery.
Inside, the Grande Panda uses a simplified dashboard with a floating touchscreen, a design language shared across Fiat’s current lineup, and seating for five. Boot space and cabin layout prioritise practicality over the more retro-styled cues of the smaller Panda.
Italian list prices start from €16,900 for the petrol version and €18,900 for the mild-hybrid, positioning the Grande Panda as one of the more affordable superminis on sale in Europe.
