The Grand Cherokee (the WL generation, on sale since 2021) regains two familiar trims for 2027: the off-road Trailhawk and the luxury Overland. Both return petrol-only, after Jeep discontinued its 4xe plug-in hybrid range earlier in 2026.
Engine. Both trims share a 2.0-litre Hurricane 4 Turbo making 329 hp and 450 Nm, with an eight-speed automatic.
Trailhawk. The off-road version offers 290 mm of ground clearance, a Quadra-Trac II four-wheel-drive system with low range, a rear differential lock, six skid plates, and a Rock setting in Selec-Terrain. It rides on Quadra-Lift air suspension and 18-inch wheels with 30.5-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory tyres, and adds a TrailCam forward camera and Nappa leather with red accents.
Overland. The luxury version keeps the Quadra-Trac II drivetrain and air suspension but takes a more road-biased, less aggressive form, on 21-inch wheels with road tyres.
Pricing has not been announced, with deliveries expected by the end of 2026. Jeep’s FaSTLAne 2030 plan has also confirmed an SRT version that will return the V8 HEMI to the range.
