Overview

The Opel Corsa is the mainland-Europe badge on a supermini that Stellantis builds at Figueruelas near Zaragoza in Spain, and sells in the UK and Ireland as the Vauxhall Corsa. The current sixth generation arrived in 2019 on the group’s CMP platform and was facelifted in 2023, gaining the Vizor front end that now runs across the Opel range. It measures 4,061 mm long, 1,765 mm wide and 1,433 mm tall, with a 309-litre boot that opens out to 1,081 litres with the rear bench folded.

The entry engine is a 1.2-litre turbocharged three-cylinder with 100 PS (99 hp) and 205 Nm, driving the front wheels through a six-speed manual for 0 to 100 km/h in 9.9 seconds and 194 km/h. Above it sit two 48V mild hybrids, badged Hybrid 110 and Hybrid 145. Both pair the 1.2 with a 21 kW (28 PS) electric motor integrated into a six-speed eDCT dual-clutch gearbox and both quote 230 Nm, but the outputs are far apart in practice: the 110 PS car matches the manual’s 9.9 seconds, while the 145 PS version cuts that to 7.9 seconds and runs to 210 km/h. There is no diesel in the German range.

Trim runs Edition, YES, GS and Ultimate, the last of these added for the 2026 model year along with a winter package. Every Corsa gets LED headlights and a touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto; the GS adds a darkened exterior treatment, black alloy wheels and sports seats, and Ultimate brings the fuller driver-assistance and comfort equipment. Not every engine is offered in every trim, and the 145 PS hybrid starts one rung up, at YES.

German list prices open at 22,890 euros for the 1.2 Turbo in Edition trim. The Hybrid 110 spans 26,760 euros in Edition to 31,710 euros in Ultimate, and the Hybrid 145 runs from 29,950 euros in YES to 33,450 euros in Ultimate. The separately specified Corsa Electric starts at 29,990 euros.
