Range Rover GT

TBA

The fifth member of the Range Rover family and the first fully electric one, previewed in prototype form in July 2026. Built on JLR's new EMA platform with a coupe-like grand-tourer silhouette; a hybrid version is planned for later in its life. Full reveal, specs, and pricing are due later in 2026.

Overview

The Range Rover GT is the fifth model in the Range Rover family and the first built purely as a battery-electric vehicle. It sits on JLR’s new EMA (Electrified Modular Architecture) platform alongside the Range Rover, Sport, Velar, and Evoque. A hybrid version is planned to join the range later in the car’s life. Land Rover builds it at its Halewood plant in Merseyside, alongside the brand’s existing combustion and hybrid models.

The GT trades the brand’s usual upright stance for a lower, coupe-like fastback body with a sloping roofline, the most car-like silhouette Land Rover has put on a Range Rover to date. It keeps the badge’s all-wheel drive and off-road ability despite the lower ride height.

Inside, a single central touchscreen replaces the brand’s usual dual-screen layout, paired with a separate driver display. A woven textile panel runs the width of the dashboard, concealing the air vents and speakers for what Land Rover calls a “reductive,” minimalist cabin. The brand highlights class-leading second-row legroom.

Land Rover has not released power, battery, range, dimensions, or pricing. Full specifications are due later in 2026.
