Land Rover has added a new Landmark trim to the Discovery range, filling the gap between the entry-level S and the flagship Tempest. The seven-seat SUV keeps the same D350 mild-hybrid diesel across all three trims, and Landmark is priced from £75,860, about $101,100.

The trim centers on Tasman Blue, a metallic paint finish exclusive to Landmark and inspired by Clearwater Blue, the color of the original 1989 Discovery. It pairs with a Narvik Black roof, Graphite Atlas exterior trim, Carpathian Grey underbody protection, and 21-inch Dark Agate Grey wheels. Mountain-motif Landmark badging shows up on the tread plates, B-pillars, center console, and projected in the door puddle lights, a design cue Land Rover has used on past special editions of the Discovery.

Inside, Landmark adds Tech Velour upholstery, a panoramic sliding roof, and a refrigerator built into the center console. Mechanically it is unchanged from the rest of the range: a 3.0-liter straight-six D350 diesel producing 345 hp and 700 Nm, an 8-speed automatic, and standard all-wheel drive, with a 3,500 kg towing capacity.

Landmark sits between the £69,540 S and the £83,940 Tempest, giving Discovery buyers a mid-tier option built around cosmetics and equipment rather than a mechanical upgrade. Land Rover sells the Discovery in 121 countries; UK order books for Landmark are open now.
