The Audi Q2 has been on sale since 2016 as the brand’s smallest SUV, sharing its MQB A0 platform with the Volkswagen T-Cross and Audi A1. It measures 4,216 mm long, 1,802 mm wide and 1,526 mm tall on a 2,593 mm wheelbase, with a boot ranging from around 355 to 405 litres depending on trim, expanding to roughly 1,050 litres with the rear seats folded.
Petrol power starts with the 116 hp 1.0-litre three-cylinder 30 TFSI, moving to the 150 hp 1.5-litre four-cylinder 35 TFSI available with a manual or S tronic automatic. The range-topping 40 TFSI quattro pairs a 190 hp 2.0-litre turbo four with S tronic and Audi’s quattro all-wheel drive, cutting the 0 to 100 km/h sprint to 6.9 seconds. Diesel buyers get a 116 hp 30 TDI in front-wheel drive, or the 150 hp 35 TDI with front- or quattro all-wheel drive.
Inside, the Q2 carries Audi’s angular, faceted dashboard design from its 2016 launch, with a digital instrument cluster and a floating central touchscreen depending on trim and model year, plus the boxy, upright proportions that distinguish it from the brand’s more rounded Q3 and Q5.
Audi has confirmed the Q2 ends production in 2026 alongside the A1, as the brand consolidates its smallest combustion models.
