The CT5-V Blackwing F1 Collector Series marks Cadillac’s first Formula 1 season with the most potent version of its Blackwing sedan ever produced. Just 26 cars will be built — one for each letter of the alphabet in the Cadillac name’s history, according to the brand — exclusively for the United States and Canada.
Powertrain: The supercharged 6.2-litre V8 receives a new supercharger developed jointly with GM Motorsports, pushing output from the standard CS’s 668 hp to 685 hp and torque from 659 lb-ft (893 Nm) to 673 lb-ft (913 Nm). A six-speed manual gearbox is the only transmission offered — automatic is not available on this variant.
Standard equipment: Every car receives the Precision Package as standard, a $18,000 option on regular Blackwings that includes upgraded adaptive suspension, carbon-ceramic brakes, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R tyres — the stickiest tyre available from the factory on a production sedan.
Exterior: The sole colour is Midnight Stone Frost, paired with Carbon Flash Metallic forged wheels. Gloss-black badges replace chrome throughout. A carbon-fibre body kit — splitter, side sills, rear diffuser, and spoiler — carries a silver pinstripe detail. F1 and FIA logos appear on the doors, spoiler, sills, and under the bonnet.
Interior: Entrance is marked by “Cadillac Formula 1” illuminated sill plates. Seats feature F1-embroidered headrests. The supercharger cover bears a CNC-machined F1 logo. The overall aesthetic is restrained: this is a driver’s car, not a show piece.
Pricing has not been announced; the standard CT5-V Blackwing with the Precision Package lists at $135,175, and the F1 Collector Series is expected to exceed $150,000. Production begins mid-2026.
