Rolls-Royce has updated the Spectre, its first series-production electric coupe. The Series II looks almost unchanged outside. The real changes are in the battery and the cabin.
Powertrain. The standard Spectre now makes 601 hp and 1015 Nm, up from 585 hp and 900 Nm. The Black Badge rises to 680 hp and 1100 Nm, from 659 hp and 1075 Nm. The car keeps its 400V electrical architecture.
Battery and range. A new 112.5 kWh pack, shared with the BMW i7, raises WLTP range 18% to 628 km and charges about 14% faster.
Exterior. A new 23-inch wheel design with a rectangular pattern, plus the option of matte-black exterior trim in place of the usual chrome.
Interior. A Duality Twill fabric woven from bamboo viscose, with embroidery that takes up to 25 hours by hand. A light pattern made of 8108 pixels sits on the fascia, alongside a new clock and a Spirit of Ecstasy figurine in a glass cabinet.
Prices start at £300,000 (~$411,000), but the average car leaves Goodwood at well over £500,000 (~$684,900) once personalised.
