The Trailseeker is a new nameplate for Subaru, an electric SUV that stretches the Solterra’s e-TNGA platform into a longer, taller body aimed at buyers who want more space without stepping up to the three-row Getaway. It arrives at US dealers in early 2026.
Every Trailseeker uses the same dual-motor layout, all-wheel drive and 74.7 kWh battery regardless of trim, producing 375 hp and a 0-100 km/h time of 4.5 seconds (4.4 to 60 mph), which Subaru calls the quickest of any production Subaru sold in the US. EPA range is rated at approximately 281 miles, and the NACS charge port on the right front fender supports DC fast charging up to 150 kW, covering 10 to 80 percent in about 28 minutes.
The cabin centers on a 14-inch touchscreen, the largest fitted to a Subaru to date, alongside the EyeSight driver-assistance suite. Cargo room measures 32.2 cubic feet with the rear seats up, and the Trailseeker is rated to tow up to 3,500 pounds when properly equipped.
Three trims are offered: Premium at $39,995, Touring at $43,995 and Limited at $44,390, before options such as premium paint or leather upholstery. The Trailseeker is assembled in Japan.
