Overview

The Uncharted is Subaru’s entry point into its electric lineup, a compact crossover with fastback styling built alongside the Toyota C-HR EV on a shared platform, motors and battery. It arrives at US dealers in early 2026.

The base Premium trim runs a single 221 hp front motor for an EPA-estimated range of more than 300 miles, the longest in the Uncharted range since it carries the least weight. Sport and GT trims add a second motor for 338 hp and standard Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive with Subaru’s X-MODE system, trading some range, more than 285 miles and more than 270 miles respectively, for the extra traction. All three share a 74.7 kWh battery and a NACS charge port supporting DC fast charging up to 150 kW, covering 10 to 80 percent in about 28 minutes.

Standard equipment on the Premium includes a 14-inch touchscreen, a 7-inch instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless phone charging and the EyeSight driver-assistance suite. The GT adds unique styling details and upgraded interior trim.

Pricing starts at $34,995 for the Premium FWD, $39,795 for the Sport AWD and $43,795 for the GT. The Uncharted is assembled in Japan.
