The current-generation Vauxhall Corsa, launched in 2019 and facelifted in 2023, is a supermini built on Stellantis’s CMP platform at Figueruelas near Zaragoza in Spain, on the same line as the mechanically identical Opel Corsa sold across the rest of Europe. It measures 4,061 mm long on a 2,538 mm wheelbase, and sits alongside a separately specified full-electric Corsa Electric that uses the same body.
Petrol power starts with a 1.2-litre turbo producing 100 PS (99 hp) and 205 Nm, driving a six-speed manual to 62 mph in 9.9 seconds. Above it sit two 48V mild hybrids, Hybrid 110 and Hybrid 145, which pair the same 1.2-litre engine with a 21 kW electric motor built into a six-speed e-DCT dual-clutch gearbox. Both quote 230 Nm, but the 110 PS car matches the manual at 9.9 seconds while the 145 PS version cuts that to 7.9 seconds, making it the quickest petrol-powered Corsa on sale. Both hybrids were badged by engine output when the 48V range launched, as Hybrid 100 and Hybrid 136; they now carry their system outputs, matching how Opel names the same two cars in mainland Europe.
Trim runs YES, Design, GS and Ultimate, with LED headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels and touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto standard across the range. GS adds front parking sensors and a rear-view camera; Ultimate brings an upgraded reversing camera and adaptive cruise control. Vauxhall’s own Luton assembly plant, which had built Corsas for decades, closed in March 2025.
UK on-the-road prices start from £20,590 (~$28,200) for the 1.2 Turbo in YES trim and £22,940 (~$31,400) for the Hybrid 110, rising to £30,935 (~$42,400) for the Hybrid 145 in Ultimate. That keeps the Corsa in the value end of a supermini segment where Stellantis also sells closely related Peugeot, Citroën and DS models.
