DS Automobiles has unveiled the N°7 Élysée, a special long-wheelbase version of its N°7 electric SUV built for the President of France. The car was prepared for the July 14 military parade and is not a simple representation trim - it is an armoured mobile office built on a stretched chassis with an exclusive hydropneumatic suspension setup.

The wheelbase grows by 250 mm over the standard N°7, and the running gear is fully adapted to presidential specification. DS says the hydropneumatic suspension was tuned in France to balance comfort, handling and durability. The choice is symbolic for the brand - hydropneumatic suspension was one of the signature features of the classic Citroen DS, whose name DS Automobiles carries forward.

The body is armoured, though DS has not disclosed the protection rating. The car carries emergency lighting, removable flag mounts and dedicated security equipment. Inside, the cabin is reconfigured for working on the move, with two separate rear seats, a console with a pull-out table, storage compartments, wireless charging and lighting controls.

The powertrain is shared with the DS N°7 E-TENSE AWD Long Range: two electric motors, all-wheel drive, 350 hp and a 97.2 kWh battery. In the standard N°7, that version is rated at up to 679 km WLTP range, but DS has not disclosed a range figure for the Élysée given its added armour and modifications.
