DS Automobiles unveiled the N°7, a new premium SUV that succeeds the DS 7 as the brand’s key model for Europe. It is not simply a facelift but a new car on Stellantis’s multi-energy STLA Medium platform, offered with a mild-hybrid powertrain and three fully electric variants.
The Hybrid 145 is a 48V mild hybrid rated at 145 hp, with a combined range DS quotes at over 1,000 km. The electric E-TENSE line runs from a 73.7 kWh entry version with 230 hp and up to 543 km WLTP range, through a 97.2 kWh Long Range FWD with 245 hp and up to 740 km WLTP range, to a dual-motor E-TENSE AWD Long Range with 350 hp and up to 679 km WLTP range. All-electric versions charge at up to 160 kW DC, adding 20 to 80 percent in 27 to 31 minutes.
The cabin gets a 16-inch central touchscreen, Nappa leather or Alcantara trim, massaging and ventilated front seats, and DS Drive Assist 2.0. Higher trims add Night Vision, the Pixelvision head-up display, Focal audio and the DS Iris voice assistant, which now integrates ChatGPT.
In France, the electric E-TENSE starts from EUR 46,990 (about $51,000) for the base FWD version, rising to EUR 50,610 for the Long Range FWD and EUR 77,520 (about $84,300) for the range-topping AWD Long Range La Première; the Hybrid 145 opens from EUR 43,900. In the UK, the electric DS N°7 starts from GBP 49,190 (about $63,700). Order books are open across Europe, with deliveries expected later in 2026.
