Great Wall Motor has put its new Haval flagship on sale, and demand arrived immediately: the H10 drew more than 15,000 orders in its first 24 hours.

The H10 sits above the rest of Haval’s SUV lineup and launched with a single powertrain, GWM’s Hi4 plug-in-hybrid system. A 1.5-liter turbocharged engine works with two electric motors for a combined 458 hp and all-wheel drive, with up to 200 km of electric-only range on the CLTC cycle and more than 1,300 km of combined range with the engine running.

At 5,060 mm long, the H10 seats six across three rows in a 2+2+2 layout, with front and rear refrigerated compartments, a panoramic sunroof, a head-up display, and GWM’s Coffee Pilot Ultra driver-assistance suite, which includes lidar and supports urban autopilot functions.

Chinese pricing runs from 299,800 yuan (about $44,200) to 359,800 yuan (about $53,100) depending on trim. GWM has not announced export plans for the H10.
