GAC presented the Hyptec S600 at the Beijing Auto Show — a deeply reworked Hyptec HT on the AEP 3.0 platform. Blind orders started at the event; prices haven’t been officially confirmed.
Platform: AEP 3.0, same base as the Hyptec HT
Powertrain: Three options:
- EREV: 1.5T (160 hp) range extender + electric motor (output not disclosed), 36 kWh battery, up to 180 km pure-electric
- EV: single motor, 340 hp, RWD
- EV: twin motor, 503 hp, AWD
Exterior: Two-tier lighting, sculpted front insert, animated rear LED strip, frameless doors
Interior: 10.25” instrument cluster, 17.3” multimedia, refrigerator in the centre console, 22-speaker audio system, footrests on all rows, heated/ventilated/massage seats
Tech: Lidar autopilot, air suspension, HUD
Pricing (China): Not confirmed. Estimated from ¥189,900 ($27,800).
