Maruti Suzuki, Suzuki’s Indian subsidiary, has launched a facelifted Brezza with a new 1.0-litre turbocharged Boosterjet engine paired with a mild-hybrid system. It makes 110 hp and 170 Nm, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed manual.

The turbo joins two carryover powertrains: the naturally aspirated 1.5-litre Dual Jet (103 hp, 137 Nm), offered with a manual or automatic, and an S-CNG version rated at 88 hp that now gets a larger 55-litre tank mounted under the floor and a 6-speed manual in place of the old 5-speed unit.

Styling updates are limited to a new bumper, grille, and trim pieces. Inside, the Brezza adds a 10.1-inch touchscreen, ventilated front seats, 64-color ambient lighting, an air purifier, and cooled wireless charging. The driver-assistance suite gains blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, and an improved 360-degree camera.

Prices start at ₹739,900 (about $7,700) and top out at ₹1,370,000 (about $14,200) for the range-topping trim. The Brezza remains exclusive to India, where it has been one of Maruti Suzuki’s best-selling compact SUVs since its 2016 debut.
