Honda of Canada Manufacturing, the manufacturing division of Honda Canada, runs three plants in Alliston, Ontario, about 40 km southwest of Barrie. Plant 1 opened in 1986, Plant 2 in 1998, and an engine plant in 2008.
Wikipedia counts more than 4,200 employees as of 2025 and says the site builds the Civic at Plant 1 and the CR-V at Plant 2 only. Honda’s 2026 CR-V release lists the Alliston Auto Plant as one of the three North American CR-V plants.
