The Audi SQ7 is the performance flagship of the third-generation Q7 range, sold in the United States. Where the US Q7 uses a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6, the SQ7 steps up to a 4.0-litre twin-turbocharged V8 producing 600 hp and 800 Nm. Drive goes to all four wheels through quattro, and Audi quotes 0-96.6 km/h (60 mph) in 3.7 seconds.
It shares the new Q7’s bodywork and cabin technology - the split-level headlights, full-width tail lights, and three-screen dashboard - with the more aggressive bumpers and detailing of Audi’s S models. It was revealed at the same time as the standard Q7. Pricing has not yet been announced.
