The Dongfeng Vigo is a compact electric SUV built on Dongfeng’s Quantum Architecture S3 platform, sold in China since May 2025 as the Nammi 06 under Dongfeng’s small-EV sub-brand. It measures 4,306 mm long, 1,868 mm wide, and 1,645 mm tall on a 2,715 mm wheelbase, sized to compete with other C-segment electric crossovers.
A single front-mounted motor drives the front wheels, producing around 120 kW (161 hp) and 230 Nm of torque for a 0-100 km/h time of roughly 9.5 seconds. Buyers choose between two lithium iron phosphate battery packs from Sunwoda: a 44.94 kWh Standard Range unit rated at about 401 km CLTC, and a 51.87 kWh Extended Range pack good for up to 471 km CLTC, or around 340 km on the stricter WLTP cycle used in most export markets. DC fast charging tops out at roughly 167 kW, enough for a 30-80 percent charge in about 18 minutes, alongside 6.6 kW AC charging and vehicle-to-load power output.
Inside, the Vigo pairs an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster with a 12.8-inch infotainment touchscreen, plus a panoramic roof, leatherette seats, a split tailgate rated to carry up to 150 kg of load, and Level 2 driver-assistance features alongside six airbags as standard.
Following its China launch, Dongfeng brought the Vigo to Singapore in January 2026, Malaysia in February 2026, the Philippines in May 2026, and South Africa in April 2026, with pricing set independently by market - it opened at RM108,888 in Malaysia (with a launch promotion at RM100,000) and closer to $12,000 to $13,000 equivalent in China.
