Overview

The DS N°7 is DS Automobiles’ new premium SUV, succeeding the DS 7 as the brand’s key model for the European market. It moves onto Stellantis’s multi-energy STLA Medium platform, which supports both combustion-hybrid and battery-electric powertrains in the same body.

The range opens with the Hybrid 145, a 48V mild hybrid rated at 145 hp with a combined range quoted at over 1,000 km. The all-electric E-TENSE line runs three tiers: a 73.7 kWh entry version with 230 hp and up to 543 km WLTP range, a 97.2 kWh Long Range FWD with 245 hp and up to 740 km WLTP range, and a dual-motor E-TENSE AWD Long Range with 350 hp and up to 679 km WLTP range. All-electric versions support DC fast charging up to 160 kW, adding 20 to 80 percent in 27 to 31 minutes.

Inside, the N°7 gets a 16-inch central touchscreen, Nappa leather or Alcantara upholstery, massaging and ventilated front seats, and DS Drive Assist 2.0 driver assistance. Higher trims add Night Vision, the Pixelvision head-up display, a Focal sound system and the DS Iris voice assistant, which integrates ChatGPT.

In France, the electric E-TENSE opens from EUR 46,990 (about $51,000) for the base FWD version, with the Long Range FWD from EUR 50,610 and the top AWD Long Range La Première reaching EUR 77,520 (about $84,300); the Hybrid 145 starts from EUR 43,900. In the UK, the electric DS N°7 starts from GBP 49,190 (about $63,700). Order books are open in Europe, with deliveries expected later in 2026.
