Overview

Honda’s smallest EV outside Japan is the Super-N, a kei-derived hot hatch built on the same platform as the Japan-only N-One e:. Honda launched the car in Japan and other Asian markets in April and May 2026 as the Super-One, and brought it to the UK from June 2026 under the Super-N name to avoid clashing with the Mini One and an existing Super One go-kart series.

A single front-mounted motor makes 47 kW (63 hp) and 162 Nm in normal mode, or 70 kW (93 hp) in the driver-selectable BOOST mode, cutting 0-62 mph from 14.5 seconds to 10 seconds. A 29.6 kWh battery gives a WLTP combined range of about 128 miles (206 km), stretching to close to 200 miles in city driving. DC fast charging tops up to 80% in around 30 minutes.

Inside, the Super-N pairs a 7-inch digital instrument cluster with a 9-inch infotainment touchscreen, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and an eight-speaker Bose audio system with a subwoofer built under the boot floor. Active Sound Control pipes in a synthesized engine note, and a simulated multi-speed feel stands in for a traditional transmission.

At 3,395 mm long and around 1,090-1,097 kg depending on market, the Super-N/Super-One is smaller and lighter than most city EVs. UK pricing starts at £18,995; the Japanese Super-One starts at ¥3,390,200 including tax.
