The Nissan Armada is a full-size SUV sold in the United States and Canada. The current, third generation went on sale for the 2025 model year and shares its platform with the current Nissan Patrol, the name Nissan sells the same SUV under almost everywhere outside North America. Both are built at Nissan’s Kanda plant in Fukuoka, Japan - a change from the previous Armada generation, which was built domestically in the US.
Every trim runs a 3.5-litre twin-turbocharged V6 making 425 hp and 516 lb-ft through a 9-speed automatic, standard with 4-wheel drive. US pricing, destination included, spans $61,030 for the base SV to $79,740 for the range-topping Platinum Reserve, with five other trims in between: SL, Platinum and PRO-4X. Every trim tows up to 8,500 lbs.
Above them sits the NISMO, Nissan’s performance division’s first Armada in North America, unveiled alongside a Middle East-market Patrol NISMO in mid-2025. NISMO engineers extract an extra 35 hp from the same twin-turbo V6 for 460 hp on premium fuel, paired with unique front and rear fascias, a grille, side steps and a rear spoiler, plus sharpened handling and a louder exhaust. It starts at $81,720 and keeps the standard Armada’s 8,500 lb towing rating.
Seating runs 7 or 8 depending on trim: SV and Platinum keep a three-across second-row bench for 8, while SL, PRO-4X and NISMO swap in second-row captain’s chairs for 7.
