Overview

Canvas-roof variant of the Renault 4 E-Tech Electric. The roof opening measures 92×80 cm, powered by an electric actuator, and folds in three sections rather than four - Renault says this keeps weight lower. Both rows of passengers benefit from the open roof. A wind deflector reduces buffeting at speed.

The canvas roof was designed into the body structure from the start: boot capacity is unchanged at 420 litres, the same as the closed-roof R4.

Powertrain: 150 hp / 245 Nm, 52 kWh, 409 km WLTP, front-wheel drive. Same as the standard Renault 4 E-Tech Electric.

Updates applied to the entire R4 range (not Plein Sud only):

  • Driver monitoring camera in the left A-pillar
  • Emergency stop function when the steering wheel is released
  • Improved cold-weather charging heat exchanger

Two trims: Techno from €37,290; Iconic from €39,290. The standard Renault 4 starts from €27,990 - the Plein Sud adds around €9,300 for the canvas mechanism and Iconic content level.
