The Telo MT1 is a four-door, five-seat electric pickup from the California startup Telo Trucks. It measures 152 inches (3,861 mm) long, 73 inches wide and 67 inches tall, with 10 inches of ground clearance. The bed is 60 inches long, and a midgate behind the rear seats folds down to extend it to 96 inches, long enough for a 4 x 8 ft sheet of plywood with the tailgate up. A storage tunnel runs under the bed from door to door. Every figure on this page is a Telo target for a truck that has not been certified.
MT1 powertrain and range
Telo offers a single-motor rear-wheel-drive MT1 rated at 300 hp (about 224 kW) and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive version at 500 hp (about 373 kW). Two battery packs are planned: a 77 kWh standard pack with an estimated 260 miles (418 km) of range and a 106 kWh Long Range pack at 350 miles (563 km). Telo quotes both in miles. The pack is split between 400 V and 800 V circuits, and Telo quotes 20-80% charging in 20 minutes.
MT1 towing and payload
The single-motor MT1 has a 2,000 lb payload and a 6,600 lb tow rating. The dual-motor car carries 1,700 lb and tows 8,000 lb, according to Telo’s website.
Inside the MT1
The cabin has five seats, with a minimal layout in natural fabrics. Telo told The Verge the interior was still being finalised in October 2026, and that it would get two 13-inch displays with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
MT1 price and trims
Telo’s configurator lists the single-motor car from 41,520 USD and the dual-motor car from 46,019 USD, with the Long Range battery a 3,980 USD option, as read on 14 October 2026. Reservations need a refundable 152 USD deposit. Telo says it has just over 14,000 reservations and plans deliveries in 2027, after crash testing and EPA and California certification.
