Saudi Arabia
Ceer revealed its first cars on 21 September: the Exobot, sold as an electric sedan and an electric SUV. The company, launched in 2022 by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund in partnership with Foxconn, becomes the country’s first national car maker. The Exobot is about two years later than the 2025 launch Ceer promised when it was founded.
Who builds what
Ceer’s BMW licence, signed in November 2022, covers component technology and is not a drivetrain supply deal. The drivetrain comes from Rimac Technology (rear unit), Hyundai Transys (front motors) and Foxconn (platform).
Sedan and SUV figures
Both cars use three motors, all-wheel drive and a 112 kWh battery on an 800-volt system. Figures below are for the launch First Edition.

NEDC range figures run higher than WLTP ones for the same car. A 10-80% charge takes under 30 minutes at up to 250 kW.
Both bodies open on Shahin Wing doors that are almost three metres long, with no B-pillar between them. Steering is by wire, the rear wheels steer, and a curved 48-inch 8K display runs across the whole dashboard.
Plant and timing
The Exobot will be built at Ceer’s new plant in King Abdullah Economic City, the Red Sea industrial zone where Lucid already assembles cars. Production starts in January 2027 and deliveries begin in March 2027, for the Gulf markets only. Prices have not been announced. Ceer plans seven models by 2030 and targets 45% local content by 2034.
