Geely Galaxy launched the Starship 7 EV in China on 11 June 2026. It is a compact electric SUV that sits above the Geely EX5 in the Galaxy line, and it goes on sale at a guide price of 109,800 to 129,800 yuan ($16,200 to $19,200) across four variants. For now it is a China-only model.
The price has two numbers
The 109,800 to 129,800 yuan ($16,200 to $19,200) figure is the guide price. Geely is also running a limited-time offer that brings the range down to 99,800 to 119,800 yuan ($14,730 to $17,700). That entry number leans on subsidies: a 6,000-yuan trade-in incentive and a 4,000-yuan insurance subsidy. The list price is the one to plan around; the 99,800 figure is conditional.
One motor, two batteries
The Starship 7 EV uses a single front-mounted motor rated at 160 kW (215 hp) and 320 Nm. It covers 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. Two lithium iron phosphate (LFP) packs are offered: 60.22 kWh for 525 km of CLTC range, and 68.39 kWh for 605 km. Geely quotes energy use as low as 12.4 kWh per 100 km.
800V at this price
The car runs an 800V high-voltage architecture, which is unusual this far down the price ladder. Geely claims a 30 to 80% charge in 20 minutes. It also adds vehicle-to-load output at 3.3 kW and vehicle-to-vehicle charging at 6 kW, the latter rare in the segment.
Four variants, split by range not power
All four versions share the same motor. They are separated by battery size and equipment rather than performance tiers, with Geely positioning the line around range and safety. Outside dimensions are 4,750 mm long, 1,905 mm wide and 1,680 mm tall, on a 2,755 mm wheelbase. Inside, the Flyme Auto system runs on a 15.4-inch central touchscreen, with a 13.8-inch head-up display.
Geely has not announced the Starship 7 EV for any market outside China.
