Škoda has fully revealed the Peaq, the largest car it sells and the new electric flagship of the range. Closely tracking the 2022 Vision 7S concept, it arrives as the battery-electric counterpart to the Kodiaq and rides on VW Group’s MEB platform. At 4874 mm long with a 2965 mm wheelbase it is 116 mm longer than the Kodiaq, and a 0.249 drag coefficient keeps it slippery for its size.
The line-up runs to three variants. Peaq 60 pairs a 204 hp rear motor with a 63 kWh battery (59 kWh usable) for 459 km WLTP and 0 to 100 km/h in 8.5 seconds. Peaq 90 steps up to a 286 hp rear motor and a 91 kWh battery (86 kWh usable) for 647 km and 7.1 seconds. Peaq 90x adds a front motor for 300 hp, all-wheel drive, 613 km and 6.8 seconds.
The seven-seat cabin is where Škoda has spent its attention. A 10-inch digital cluster pairs with a 13.6-inch portrait touchscreen, and the options list runs to Qi2 wireless charging at 25 W, a 16-speaker Sonos system, a Relax package with massage and ventilated seats, fold-out tables and ottomans. Outside there are T-shaped LED signatures, retractable door handles - a first for Škoda - and a 2.12 m² electrochromic panoramic roof divided into nine individually controllable segments.
In Germany the Peaq 60 starts at €49,900 (~$54,000), the Peaq 90 at €57,900 and the Peaq 90x at €60,400. A Sportline trim with black exterior accents is offered across the range, from €54,800 to €65,300.
