The updated M9 grows in both body lengths and adds a new range-topping Ultimate trim. It rides on Huawei’s Tuling platform with an 800V architecture. The standard car measures 5,285 mm long on a 3,125 mm wheelbase; the Ultimate stretches to 5,402 mm and a 3,236 mm wheelbase.
The EREV setup pairs a petrol range extender with electric drive. The standard model uses a 1.5L engine and twin motors for 676 hp, with a 60 or 75.4 kWh battery good for up to 422 km of electric range (CLTC). The Ultimate runs a 2.0L engine and three motors for 903 hp and 865 Nm, with a 75.4 kWh battery and 378 km of electric range.
A full battery-electric M9 is sold alongside it on the same platform. Twin motors again produce 676 hp, drawing on a 120 kWh battery for up to 750 km of CLTC range in the standard body and 700 km in the Ultimate.
Inside is a three-screen HarmonyOS layout with Huawei’s Xiaoyi AI assistant, rotating second-row seats, a third-row table, and a 39-to-43-speaker audio system. The hardware count rises to six lidar units, including an 896-line dual-optical sensor, running ADS 5.0. Active Tuling suspension is fitted, and top speed is 220 km/h.
Pricing runs from ¥479,800 to ¥549,800 ($70,800 - $81,150) for the standard car and ¥649,800 to ¥659,800 ($95,900 - $97,400) for the Ultimate.
