The Alpha T7 is a five-seat SUV from Arcfox, BAIC’s electric-car brand, and sits above the smaller Alpha T5 in the Alpha range. It is 5,020 mm long, 1,996 mm wide and 1,685 mm tall on a 3,040 mm wheelbase. It went on sale in China on 16 September 2026 as a range extender (EREV) and as a battery-electric car.
The range extender pairs a 1.5-litre petrol engine, which only generates electricity, with an electric motor of up to 200 kW (268 hp) and a 43.9 kWh battery. That gives 320 km on electricity alone and 1,315 km in total, both on the CLTC cycle. The electric car has a single 227 kW (304 hp) motor on an 800 V silicon-carbide platform, with 650 km or 715 km of CLTC range. The 715 km car has an 84.8 kWh battery with CATL cells; Arcfox has not given the smaller pack’s capacity. On a fast charger it adds 270 km of range in 10 minutes.
The cabin has a 17.3-inch central touchscreen and a 1.1-metre-wide panoramic head-up display. The Qiankun Edition adds Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 Pro driver assistance.
The range extender comes in four versions from 132,800 to 163,800 yuan ($19,700 to $24,300), and the electric car in five from 135,800 to 168,800 yuan ($20,200 to $25,100). These are subsidised launch prices, and Arcfox has not said how long they apply.
