Unveiled at the Beijing Auto Show on 27 April 2026, the Audi E7X is built on the Advanced Digitized Platform (ADP) — a 900V architecture developed by the SAIC-Volkswagen joint venture specifically for the Chinese market.
Two powertrain options are available at launch: a rear-wheel-drive 408 hp version with a 100 kWh battery, and an all-wheel-drive 680 hp version with a 109 kWh pack. Both are claimed to exceed 750 km of CLTC range. The AWD variant sprints to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds.
The E7X replaces conventional door mirrors with camera display units and offers a retractable ceiling screen for rear passengers. Interior options include a Bose audio system with 26 speakers and a panoramic roof with adjustable transparency. Seating is available in 4 or 5-seat configurations.
Driver assistance runs at SAE Level 2 via a partnership with Momenta, with a roadmap to Level 3 autonomy. The car supports full OTA updates.
Pricing will be announced in May 2026. Market: China only.
