The Emgrand i-HEV is the hybrid version of Geely’s fifth-generation Emgrand, a compact sedan that launched in petrol form in the autumn of 2025. The i-HEV system is a full hybrid that works without a charging plug.
Powertrain. The front wheels are driven by a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine (112 hp, 136 Nm) working with an electric motor rated at 190 hp and 240 Nm. Geely quotes combined fuel use of 3.83 l/100km on the WLTC cycle.
Body. Dimensions match the petrol car: 4,815 mm long, 1,885 mm wide, 1,480 mm tall, on a 2,755 mm wheelbase. The hybrid is visually identical apart from optional 17-inch wheels in place of the standard 16-inch set.
Equipment. The cabin comes with climate control, a 10.2-inch instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch touchscreen, plus adaptive cruise control, lane keeping, blind-spot monitoring, a sunroof, wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, automatic emergency braking, and heated and ventilated front seats.
Prices in China run from 87,900 to 97,900 yuan ($13,000 to $14,500), above the petrol Emgrand that starts at 74,900 yuan ($10,400). The car has not been announced for export.
