The Jetour G700 is a 5,198 mm long, 2,050 mm wide and 1,956 mm tall SUV on a 2,870 mm wheelbase, with a spare wheel on the tailgate and the squared-off body of a traditional off-roader. It is built on a body-on-frame GAIA platform with double-wishbone front suspension, and it is made in Fuzhou, in China’s Fujian province. In China it is called the Zongheng G700 and the Jetour name applies abroad. Chery launched it in October 2025, and the 2027 model year went on sale on 29 September 2026 with Huawei driver assistance as the main change.
G700 powertrain and range
A 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and two electric motors, one on each axle, make a combined 665 kW (892 hp) and 1,135 Nm through a two-speed hybrid transmission, and it is rated at 4.6 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The car weighs between 3,063 and 3,349 kg unladen, depending on the version. Two CATL batteries are offered: a 34.13 kWh lithium iron phosphate pack good for 150 km on the CLTC cycle without the engine, and a 59.45 kWh ternary lithium pack good for 260 km. Chery quoted a combined range of 1,400 km at the 2025 launch.
G700 off-road hardware
The four-wheel-drive system locks both the front and rear differentials. Chery quotes a 970 mm wading depth, 35 degree approach and 28 degree departure angles and a 2.5 tonne towing limit. An external oxygen generator rated at 3 litres per minute is fitted for use outdoors.
Inside the G700
A 35.4-inch screen runs the full width of the dashboard, alongside a 15.6-inch 2.5K central display, driven by a Snapdragon 8255 chip. The seats are heated, ventilated and massaging in front, and the cabin has a refrigerator, two 50 W wireless chargers and a Lexicon audio system. Five- and six-seat layouts are sold, and the six-seat car has zero-gravity second-row seats.
G700 driver assistance
The 2027 model year adopts Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5, with an 896-line dual-channel lidar and navigation assistance on city streets and highways, plus parking functions across all scenarios. Lidar is fitted on several trims, where it was previously found on Chinese cars costing more than 400,000 yuan (~$59,400).
G700 price and trims
Five trims are sold in China at list prices of 329,900 to 442,900 yuan (~$49,000–65,800). Three trims use the 34.13 kWh battery, at 329,900, 352,900 and 385,900 yuan, and two use the 59.45 kWh battery, at 410,900 yuan (~$61,100) with five seats and 442,900 yuan (~$65,800) with six. Limited-time prices at launch run from 304,900 to 422,900 yuan (~$45,300–62,800). The 2025 range was four trims from 329,900 to 414,900 yuan (~$49,000–61,600).
