Overview

The Li Auto i6 is a battery-electric mid-size SUV launched in China in September 2025. It is the brand’s second pure-electric model, following the larger i8, and marks Li Auto’s deeper push into the BEV market after building its reputation on range-extender SUVs. The i6 measures 4,950 mm long on a 3,000 mm wheelbase.

At its core is an 87.3 kWh lithium-iron-phosphate battery with a 5C charging architecture, giving up to 720 km of CLTC range. Li Auto quotes around 500 km of range added in 10 minutes at a compatible ultra-fast charger. Single-motor rear-drive and dual-motor all-wheel-drive configurations are offered.

The cabin follows Li Auto’s family-focused approach, with a large central display, comfortable second-row seating, and the brand’s software suite. The i6 is positioned as a practical long-range family SUV rather than a performance model.

Pricing starts from ¥249,800 and runs to roughly ¥300,000 across the range, undercutting Li Auto’s own larger models while keeping the long-range, fast-charging proposition.
