The MT6 is the first model of O.S.C.A., the Bologna race-car maker founded by the Maserati brothers in 1947 and revived in 2026 as part of DR Automobiles’ Historic Italian Brands project. Unlike the small sports cars the original marque built, the MT6 is a Changan UNI-T underneath: the Chinese SUV’s platform, body structure, engine, transmission and much of its interior carry over, while Fabbrica Italia’s design centre and Italdesign reworked the front and rear, and Italian suppliers retuned the electronics, suspension, brakes and exhaust.
The engine is a 1.5-litre turbo petrol driving the front wheels through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox, with a top speed of 190 km/h. O.S.C.A. has not published a power figure; the UNI-T’s own version of the engine makes 179 CV (132 kW) in China, but nothing confirms the MT6 carries the same rating. The body measures 4,515 mm long, 1,870 mm wide and 1,560 mm tall on a 2,710 mm wheelbase.
Inside, the MT6 gets Recaro sports seats trimmed in leather and Alcantara, two 10.25-inch screens, a panoramic roof, automated parking and Level 2 driver assistance. The exterior rides on 21-inch MAK wheels with Pirelli P Zero tyres, an upgraded brake package and a Tubi Style exhaust.
Deliveries in Italy begin in September 2026 at 49,000 euros. A larger MT8 is next, and O.S.C.A. has said a dedicated sports model will follow in 2027.
