The Starlight L is the largest model in Wuling’s Starlight family, targeting Chinese buyers who want three-row PHEV practicality without the pricing of premium competitors.
Powertrain — PHEV: 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine (106 hp) + 231 hp electric motor + CVT, front-wheel drive. Battery: 37.9 kWh. EV range: 260 km CLTC. A 1.5T turbocharged variant (143 hp) will follow later.
Practicality — 4,980 mm length, 2,950 mm wheelbase, six seats, 20-inch wheels. Boot: 383 L behind row three; 1,103 L with rows two and three folded.
Positioning — the Starlight L skips LiDAR, in-car refrigeration, and massage seats that many competing Chinese PHEVs offer at similar prices. The trade-off is a price advantage of roughly 30–40% against those rivals.
Pre-orders are open in China at 122,800¥ ($18,100) to 142,800¥ ($21,100).
