The Lynk & Co 01 is a compact plug-in hybrid SUV and the car the Geely brand launched in Europe with, first on a subscription-only model and now on conventional sale. It sits below the larger 08 and the 07 GT in the range. It measures 4,512 mm long, 1,857 mm wide and 1,673 mm tall on a 2,734 mm wheelbase, and it is built on CMA, the compact architecture CEVT developed in Gothenburg for Geely and Volvo, so it shares its underpinnings with the Volvo XC40.
The powertrain was re-engineered for sales that opened in December 2024. A 1.5-litre turbocharged three-cylinder petrol engine works with an electric motor through a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox for a combined 206 kW, or 280 PS (276 hp), and 535 Nm, up from 192 kW and 425 Nm on the previous version. Drive goes to the front wheels. The battery holds 17.6 kWh gross and 14.1 kWh usable, enough for 75 km of electric running on the WLTP cycle, and it charges on a 6.6 kW onboard charger rather than a DC connection.
Inside, the update replaced the 12.7-inch centre screen with a 15.4-inch unit running on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 chip, and put physical buttons back on the steering wheel after the earlier car handled most functions through the display. The cabin keeps the blue-accented trim and the tall centre console of the original, with a shift-by-wire selector and a panoramic roof on the upper trim.
Outside, the 2024 revision brought a gloss black grille, new wheel designs and redesigned rear LED lights, offered in Crystal White, Sparkling Black and Mineral Green. Two trims are sold in Germany: Core from EUR 42,995 with LED headlights, 19-inch wheels, parking sensors and a reversing camera, and More from EUR 46,995, which adds adaptive headlights, 20-inch wheels, the panoramic roof, a 360-degree camera and powered front seats.
