The Arcfox S3, BAIC’s large electric sedan, has gone on sale in China. Prices start from ¥96,800 ($14,200) — or from ¥68,800 ($10,100) under a battery rental scheme that separates the battery from the purchase price.
Platform: IMC architecture with 5G connectivity, V2X communication, and OTA updates
Powertrain: Single front motor, 216 hp. Two battery options:
- 55.6 kWh · 560 km CLTC
- 65.8 kWh · 660 km CLTC
Battery rental option: 54 kWh pack, 535 km CLTC. All range figures are CLTC — European-cycle equivalents typically run 20–30% lower.
Exterior: Full-width LED strip at the front, unified rear light bar, semi-hidden door handles, active spoiler on top trims
Interior: 8.8” instrument cluster, 15.6” multimedia screen, heated/ventilated/massage seats, wireless charging
Driver assistance: Standard ADAS across the range. Top trim adds a lidar unit above the windshield and an extended assistance package.
