New BMW iX3 and X5 already carry loyalty credits

BMW has put its first US incentives on the new iX3 and X5, within days of the iX3 reaching US customers. Each is a loyalty credit for people who already own or lease a BMW.

What the credits are worth

The iX3 50 xDrive gets $500, which needs no trade-in, does not require dealer participation and can be passed to a member of the same household. The fifth-generation X5 gets $1,000, on purchase or lease. Both credits run through 30 September and can be combined with BMW’s 4.99% APR financing over 60 months, according to CarsDirect and BMWBlog.

iX3 deliveries started early

US deliveries of the iX3 began on 16 September, nine days earlier than planned, which BMW put down to demand. The $500 credit is 0.8% of the iX3’s $61,500 base price.

The X5 starts at $69,800 before destination.
