Ferrari’s first electric car has not reached a single customer yet, but the company has already sold out its entire 2026 production run of the Luce. According to the Financial Times, that is close to 500 cars, and Ferrari reached the total in under two months after the car’s 25 May 2026 reveal. China accounted for most of the demand.
The Luce drew a mixed reaction at launch. Its four-door body and styling departed from Ferrari’s usual coupe-first lineup, and reception to the design was divided. Ferrari says it is satisfied with the order numbers regardless and sees no reason to change course. CEO Benedetto Vigna said interest in the car matches the company’s expectations, and that Ferrari’s order book is now filled into 2027.
The Luce is priced from €550,000, with a four-motor powertrain producing 1,050 hp, a 122 kWh battery, and the 880V architecture Ferrari developed in-house for the car. First customer deliveries are scheduled for October 2026.
