Peugeot has released the first official images of the production E-208 GTi, reviving the GTi badge for the electric era. The car looks identical to the concept shown in 2025. A full technical presentation is due in a few days; the specifications below come from that concept.
Lowered, widened, focused
The E-208 GTi is built on Stellantis’s eCMP platform, measuring 4,055 mm long, 1,745 mm wide and 1,430 mm tall on a 2,540 mm wheelbase. The hardware that makes it a GTi: ride height lowered by 30 mm, front track widened by 56 mm and the rear by 27 mm.
Powertrain
A single motor on the front axle produces 280 hp and 345 Nm - the same unit found in the Abarth 600e, Alfa Romeo Junior Veloce and Lancia Ypsilon HF. A 54 kWh battery gives a claimed 350 km of WLTP range. Peugeot quotes 0-100 km/h in 5.7 seconds and a top speed of 180 km/h.
Design
Red details run through the headlights, grille, badges, wheel arches, spoiler and GTi lettering, with a body-coloured front splitter, aerodynamically styled wheels and red brake calipers. Inside, there is red stitching on the seats and steering wheel, and a 208 GTi emblem on the wheel.
Pricing
Prices have not been announced. The standard e-208 starts at €31,650 in Germany.
