Xpeng began global shipments on 26 October and plans to sell the car in 65 countries and regions, without publishing delivery schedules for individual overseas markets. TechNode reports that the first 5,000 cars had already rolled off a dedicated production line, so vehicle allocation began on launch night.

The L05 is the third Mona model, above the compact Mona L03. CnEVPost says Xpeng is counting on new models to push monthly sales above 60,000 in the fourth quarter, after 41,256 deliveries in September.
