The Geely Galaxy A7 is a mid-size sedan sold under Geely’s Galaxy new-energy sub-brand, launched in China in April 2026. It measures 4,935 mm long, 1,905 mm wide and 1,500 mm tall on a 2,845 mm wheelbase, and uses Geely’s GEA architecture shared with other Galaxy models.
The lineup opens with the EM-i plug-in hybrid, which pairs a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated engine rated at 47.26% thermal efficiency with an 11-in-1 electric drive unit for 235 hp combined. The EM 150 trim uses an 18.4 kWh battery for 150 km of CLTC electric range, while the EM 235 steps up to a 28.3 kWh battery and 235 km of electric range; fuel consumption is rated as low as 2.67 L/100 km, with combined range beyond 2,100 km. A pure-electric EV version joined the range at the same launch, using a 160 kW (215 hp) front motor and a 58.05 kWh LFP battery for 550 km of CLTC range and a 7.4-second 0-100 km/h time.
Inside, the A7 runs Geely’s Flyme Auto 2 software on a 14.6-inch touchscreen, paired with a 16-speaker Flyme Sound system, heated and ventilated front seats, and wireless phone charging. Trunk space is 547 liters on the EV and 535 liters on the EM-i.
Pricing for the EM-i opens at ¥97,800 (~$14,500) for the entry EM 150 Enjoy and rises to ¥131,800 (~$19,600) for the EM 235 Starship, while the EV starts from ¥112,800 (~$16,800). The Galaxy A7 sits below the larger Galaxy Cruiser SUVs in Geely’s own-brand new-energy lineup, alongside the Zeekr and Lynk & Co ranges from the wider Geely group.
