Honda Elevate platform and positioning
The Honda Elevate is a five-seat compact SUV built on Honda’s global small car platform, the same architecture that underpins the seventh-generation City and third-generation Amaze. Honda R&D Asia Pacific in Thailand developed it, and it was unveiled in India on 6 June 2023 as the brand’s only SUV there after the first-generation WR-V was dropped. Japan gets it as the WR-V, imported from India since November 2023, and it also sells in South Africa and Brazil. A facelift went on sale in India on 6 October 2026.
Honda Elevate powertrain
There is one engine: a 1.5-litre naturally aspirated i-VTEC four-cylinder making 121 PS (119 hp) and 145 Nm, driving the front wheels through a 6-speed manual or a CVT. The facelift left it unchanged. No diesel or hybrid is on offer.
Honda Elevate design and equipment
The facelift redesigns both ends. The front gets a bold mesh grille, tri-bar LED position lights, and a Honda badge that moves up onto the bonnet. The rear gets connected LED tail-lamps, and the higher trims ride on 17-inch dual-tone diamond-cut alloys. Inside, the ZX brings ventilated front seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen and Honda Sensing, which gained low-speed follow with the facelift. The ZX+ adds a 360-degree camera, powered front seats and ventilated rear seats.
Honda Elevate price and trims
Prices start at Rs 11.80 lakh (~$12,300) ex-showroom for the SV, which is sold with the manual only. The CVT adds about Rs 1.5 lakh (~$1,600) on each trim from the V up, and tops out at Rs 18.40 lakh (~$19,200) on the ZX+ Black. The trim table shows the manual prices.
