Overview

The Volvo EX60 is a midsize electric SUV built on SPA3, Volvo’s newest EV platform, which introduces an 800-volt electrical architecture to the brand. It is also the first Volvo equipped with a native North American Charging Standard (NACS) port, giving direct access to Tesla Supercharger stations without an adapter.

US buyers can order two powertrains at launch, with a third arriving later. The rear-drive P6 uses an 80 kWh battery for 369 hp and up to roughly 307 miles of EPA range. The all-wheel-drive P10 steps up to a 91 kWh battery and 503 hp, reaching around 322 miles. The range-topping P12, arriving after launch, pairs a 112 kWh battery with 670 hp and Volvo’s longest EPA range yet for the EX60, at up to 400 miles. All three variants share a 180 km/h top speed and support DC fast charging from 10 to 80 percent in under 20 minutes.

The EX60 is 4,803 mm long, 1,899 mm wide and 1,635 mm tall on a 2,970 mm wheelbase, and introduces Volvo’s multi-adaptive safety belt, which adjusts its restraint profile to the severity of a crash and the occupant’s body. Production started in April 2026, with US deliveries beginning in late spring.

A well-equipped P6 Plus trim starts at $58,400 before destination charges, with a 15-inch OLED touchscreen running Google built-in with Gemini, Pilot Assist, and a 21-speaker Bose sound system. The EX60 launches alongside a broader Volvo product push that includes the larger EX90 flagship and new electric successors to the S60 and V60.
