The Xpeng X9 is a full-size electric MPV - a seven-seat people-mover that serves as the flagship of Xpeng’s lineup. It is built on the brand’s 800V SEPA platform and adds rear-wheel steering to make a vehicle of this length easier to manoeuvre. In June 2026 it went on sale across seven European markets, including Germany, Norway and Finland.
The European range uses two battery sizes. The Standard Range pairs a 94.8 kWh LFP battery with a 235 kW (315 hp) motor for up to 535 km of WLTP range. The Long Range steps up to a 110 kWh NMC battery for up to 615 km, the longest in the lineup, with the same 235 kW output. The top AWD Performance keeps the 110 kWh battery but adds a second motor for 370 kW (496 hp), reaching 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds while still returning up to 580 km.
Charging is a headline feature. The 800V architecture supports 5C rates, with peak intake around 537 kW for the smaller battery and 542 kW for the larger one, so even the big pack tops up quickly where the infrastructure allows. The cabin focuses on second- and third-row space and comfort, in keeping with the X9’s role as a premium family and business shuttle.
In Germany the X9 opens at 77,600 euros (about $89,200) for the Standard Range, rising to 81,600 euros for the Long Range and 86,600 euros for the AWD Performance. It is one of the highest-specified Chinese MPVs offered in Europe.
